Geography
Sade is located in Europe between Belarus, Poland and Russia. Located across the Baltic sea are Finland and Norway. The geographic co-ordinates are 59.56°, 25.68°NW and 53.93°, 23.77° SE. Sade is 175, 228 km2. The southern side is now covered with forests which the townspeople planted years ago. Small rivers and lakes flow through the trees. The most known river is called Saint, and it runs through the whole of Sade. This is the main source of electricity and water. Pipes located near to the river collect and filter the water for the city of Greendale. Most invaders will go to neighbouring countries, as not many natural resources can be found in Sade.
Greendale
The Capital city, Greendale, is located in the northern part of Sade. This area has been cleared for plantations and houses. It rests a few km away from the Baltic sea. There are four main fisheries in Sade. Evergreen, Lavender, Arvada and Mania. Mania produces the most amount of fish each year. Sade trades the fish to countries that are Land-locked such as Belarus.
To prevent pollution, less cars are used and more people take public transport, such as trains and busses. The trains and busses all run on a new form of electricity. Solar power is now being used everywhere in Sade, even in homes as electricity. The panels are able to consume massive amounts of sunlight in a small period of time. With less daylight in the winter, the running water and falling snow will generate the electricity for transport, homes and other buildings. Bicycle paths are located everywhere in the city, and small parks help keep the air clean. |

Population |
More than two thirds of the population live in the Capital city, while the rest live in the southern part of the country. The population density is about 40 people per km2 The small population means enough jobs for everyone.
Not only do people live in Sade, but also animals such as Wild boar, Reindeer and the Pine Marten. They can be found in the southern part of Sade, in the forests and near the lakes. |
Climate
There are four seasons in total. Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer. These are good for the agriculture in Sade. The downside is that money has to be spent on heating, which we trade from other countries. 1/4th of the Northern part of land is used for farming such as growing turnips and asparagus, which is what Sade is known for. Sade is not located near any tectonic plates, which means there won't be any bad earthquakes. The frequent change in weather and medium precipitation levels may cause small tornados and storms. For that the city of Greendale have built shelters around the city, which all have plenty of food and water, in case of emergencies. The country has spent millions of dollars on protection against all types of weather.
